Soap Commander Vegan-Based Shaving Soaps provide rich, thick, and creamy lather that both moisturize and protect for close and comfortable shave experience...even against the grain. Our Shea Butter enriched shaving soaps are specially formulated to assist your razor in protection and glide to effortless cut through the thickest of hair.

Directions for Use: Load soap by swirling a slightly damp shaving brush in a circular motion over the surface of the soap. Build lather by adding drops of water to the brush and then to face or bowl. Discontinue use if any irritation occurs.

Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Distilled Water, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, and Fragrance.

Ahh yes… sandalwood

I consider Soap Commander one of the original “trailblazers” in supplying the wet shaving world with their artisanal offerings for several decades now. (Try any of their bath bar soaps by the way - a real work-horse bubble maker!). My first true sandalwood set is a SC offering. I find this has a woodsy intro with a dry, sandalwood note. 2/5 so it’s not obtrusive. Their soap container is generously filled & makes the pure, billowy-rich lather SC is reknowned for. I also find the post skin feel exceptional which tells me the ingredient list is full of the good stuff. My order had a rough start, but i heard from Carrie three separate times providing me with updates on my order’s whereabouts (postal service mishap). This is a company worth our business because it’s a proven, quality line of products brought to us by a dedicated family operation who delivers a quality experience.

Soap Commander Commitment is a keeper

Soap Commander Commitment lathers easily and provides plenty of cushion for a great shave. I am not a big scent person but found the light scent pleasant.

Soft Subtle Sandalwood

This is a wonderful sandalwood. The scent is soft and subtle, 2 out of 5 scent strength, and has the wonderful qualities of being warm and refreshing, perfect for a cool spring morning. The base is, as with all the Commander’s soaps, excellent. A small amount whips up to yoghurt quickly. The cushion, glide, and post shave feel are excellent.
